The idea for this new kind of high-end hospitality was born in 2010 and we observed the growth of sharing platforms such as Airbnb, Uber etc. and intelligent technologies and thought we could combine them to create a new kind of travel experience that improves the traditional model of the high-end hotel: The Hotel 2.0.
The aim was to create the most personal and innovative luxury hotel alternative in the world. However, we wanted to be able to offer the same exceptional service in every apartment, no matter where in the world. So we developed our digital butler James and the Le Bijou app Q.

This concierge technology available in each apartment is able to learn through interaction with guests. It works invisibly in the background and makes every Le Bijou stay a perfectly personalized, lasting experience.
As soon as a guest makes an inquiry, it is transmitted to our carefully maintained service provider directory. The first service provider to accept the request has the job. In this way, the needs of our guests are quickly and efficiently met by a partner we trust. Just like a traditional concierge – only better and more cost-efficient.

It is another milestone in Le Bijou’s success story that one of the world’s largest technology giants – Samsung – has entered into a partnership with Le Bijou. By connecting Samsung’s home appliances with our James and Q App, we can further individualize the stay of our guests. This allows us to preset our customers’ preferred language in each device.
The goal is for every guest to be able to communicate with James and Q – with our apartments – in their natural native language. They then control the home appliances and create the ideal feel-good atmosphere for each of our guests.
This will further extend our lead over traditional concierge services in traditional hotels.

We rent out our own apartments, whereas Airbnb is only an intermediary platform between landlord and tenant.
